US Peace Corps Returning to Albania
      Tirana, July 24, 2003 - The US Peace Corps has agreed to return to Albania to resume operations after a six-year hiatus. US Ambassador to Albania James F Jeffrey and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Luan Hajdaraga sealed the deal.

Meanwhile, President Alfred Moisiu reviewed a proposal by Prime Minister Fatos Nano to fill vacant cabinet posts. Ermelinda Meksi is likely to become the deputy prime minister and minister of state for integration, while Marko Bello would become the new foreign minister. Ilir Meta resigned late last week, BBC reported.
