Vlado Buckovski Would Be New Prime Minister Of Macedonia
The new leader of the Socialdemocrat Union of Macedonia (SDSM) Vlado Buckovski would be the new Macedonian Prime Minister.

Buckovski has been elected at a special congress of the SDSM this morning in hotel Alexander Palace in Skopje. He was elected on a second round, as he lacked only one vote to be elected on the first.

A second round between Vlado Buckovski and Radmila Sekerinska took place this morning. The new leader of the Socialdemocrats would also be the new Prime Minster of Macedonia. Buckovski has stated prior to the Congress that he would appoint the new Government in case he is elected leader of SDSM. It is not clear whether the new Cabinet would include Buckovski’s opponent and former Deputy Prime Minister Radmila Sekerinska.
